Di Kalimantan, sektor pertambangan memiliki dampak lingkungan yang besar terhadap lahan hutan. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan tambang yang memperoleh Izin Pinjam Pakai Kawasan Hutan (IPPKH) bertanggung jawab untuk melakukan rehabilitasi hutan di Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) yang rusak.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Kewajiban perusahaan pertambangan untuk merehabilitasi daerah aliran sungai memberikan peluang bagi perusahaan jasa untuk melaksanakan proyek rehabilitasi atas nama mereka. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan rehabilitasi ini, PT. Andalan Alam Perkasa (AAP) telah mendirikan pembibitan untuk membudidayakan beberapa jenis pohon hutan dan buah-buahan untuk proyek-proyek rehabilitasi hutan di lahan gambut dan mineral.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Pembibitan AAP menempati lahan seluas 1,5 hektar di Jalan Tjilik Riwut, Palangka Raya. Di sini, perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang rehabilitasi hutan membudidayakan ribuan bibit pohon dari berbagai jenis, seperti balangeran (Shorea Balangeran), bangkirai (Shorea laevis), jelutung (Dyera Costulata), tengkawang (Shorea), dan sengon (Albizia Chinensis). Selain spesies asli hutan hujan tropis tersebut, AAP juga menanam pohon buah-buahan seperti durian (Durio), jengkol (Archidendron pauciflorum), petai (Parkia Speciosa), dan matoa (Pometia Pinnata).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Faishol Hamis (25), komisaris AAP, menjelaskan bahwa pemilihan spesies ditentukan melalui kesepakatan bersama antara perusahaan, pemerintah, dan masyarakat. Tim AAP juga terlibat dalam diskusi antara perusahaan sponsor dan pemerintah daerah selama tahap sosialisasi proyek. \"Kami selalu berdiskusi dengan masyarakat untuk menentukan jenis spesies apa yang mereka inginkan untuk ditanam. Jika proyek berada di lahan gambut, baik masyarakat maupun perusahaan biasanya ingin menanam balangeran,\" kata Faishol.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Balangeran memang mudah tumbuh di lahan gambut, dengan tingkat kelangsungan hidup yang baik yaitu 80%. Setiap tanaman tumbuh di lokasi pembibitan hingga tingginya mencapai 40-50 cm sebelum siap ditanam. Sebagai spesies perintis asli, balangeran biasanya tumbuh dengan baik di lahan gambut dan nantinya dapat menghasilkan kayu berkualitas tinggi.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Untuk setiap proyek rehabilitasi hutan yang mereka kerjakan, AAP bertanggung jawab tidak hanya untuk survei lokasi awal, pekerjaan pembibitan dan penanaman, tetapi juga untuk pemeliharaan lokasi yang sedang berlangsung selama tiga tahun, di mana selama itu AAP berkewajiban untuk memastikan kelangsungan hidup bibit.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

\"Semua bibit yang kami tanam harus bertahan hidup sesuai dengan kontrak kerja. Kami wajib mengganti bibit yang mati dengan yang baru,\" kata Faishol. Setelah memulai pembibitannya pada tahun 2020, AAP kini telah merehabilitasi 1.100 hektar lahan di Kabupaten Kapuas dan 450 hektar di Kabupaten Pulang Pisau. Selanjutnya, 450 hektar lagi akan ditanami di Kabupaten Pulang Pisau dalam waktu dua bulan ke depan.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Faishol berpendapat bahwa kewajiban program rehabilitasi bagi perusahaan tambang merupakan hal yang baik bagi masyarakat lokal. \"Masyarakat setempat bisa mendapatkan kesempatan kerja baru pada tahap penanaman, dan juga bisa mendapatkan manfaat ekonomi dari pohon-pohon tersebut dalam jangka panjang,\" kata Faishol. \"Di pembibitan ini saja, kami memiliki 20 pekerja penuh waktu. Target kami adalah menanam sekitar 50.000 bibit per bulan,\" kata Faishol.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Ketika melakukan penanaman, AAP menawarkan kesempatan kerja kepada masyarakat sekitar terlebih dahulu. Dan setelah serah terima akhir oleh pemerintah atau perusahaan sponsor, masyarakat kemudian diizinkan untuk mengambil manfaat dari area yang direhabilitasi dalam bentuk hasil hutan non-kayu.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Namun, untuk merestorasi lahan membutuhkan biaya yang cukup mahal. Faishol menjelaskan bahwa harga setiap bibit balangeran adalah Rp2000,- untuk rencana penanaman standar sebanyak 714 bibit per hektar. \"Biaya pembibitan, pengangkutan, penanaman, dan perawatan bibit, ditambah dengan upah pekerja, maka totalnya mencapai sekitar 20-30 juta rupiah per hektar.
